Located in the heart of historic Downtown Bryan, The Queen Theatre has been a landmark of entertainment and community for over a century. Originally built in 1939, the theatre has always been more than just a movie house, it’s a gathering place. From its early days of silent films to today’s mix of blockbuster hits, independent films, and live performances, the theatre has been a stage for storytelling, culture, and connection.
Following a major restoration completed in 2018 and enhancements to the restoration in 2022, The Queen reopened with state-of-the-art projection and sound, a beautifully renovated interior, and a renewed commitment to serving the Bryan–College Station community. The glowing crown atop the building has once again become a beacon for locals and visitors alike. A new amenity created in the 2022 renovations introduced the community to The Crown Bar; located on the third and fourth floors of the historic theatre. The Queen offers its guests, whether while seeing a show or socializing in The Crown Bar, a full-service dining experience.
